On 28 August 2015 (Friday) a Classic Car Parade and display will take place in Dunoon, Argyll. While the main weekends event is the annual traditional Cowal Highland Gathering in the town, a collection of classic cars take part in a short parade through the town followed by a static display. The vehicle element of the event lasts for a few hours.
Should anyone be interested please pm me with yours and the vehicle details which I will forward to the organisers.
Please be aware, historically the games/gathering weekend has been well attended with the towns accommodation facilities booked up months in advance also, the vehicle ferry to Dunoon from McInroys Point, Gourock is expected to be busy. An alternative road route is possible via the A82 Loch Lomondside, A83 Tarbet to Cairndow section and the A815 from Cairndow to Dunoon. A typical town centre postcode for satnavs is PA23 8AA.

Despite a day of quite heavy showers, the event took place, during the course of which, dry and at times sunny conditions prevailed making for a successful gathering of cars. It was good to see a Renault 5 and a Renault 11 in the line-up which generated interest from past owners of the models.
